‘One of the major counsels of my murshid, Imam Shah Chandrapuri
(Rh) is to purify soul. He suggested that neeyat (intention)
would not be perfect, if soul is not purified; and no prayer
would be just right, if neeyat is not perfected; moreover, all
prayer would go in vein. As a result, he has introduced such
teachings for his followers by pursuing which they can have
nearness to Allah with least effort and by gaining affection
through prayers and by purifying their souls.
The Allah mighty stated in the Holy Quran, “The day on which
neither wealth nor sons will avail, except him who comes to
Allah with a heart free (from evil)” (Sura Ash-Shu'araa, verse
88-89). Narrated by Abu Huraira, a hadith stated that Rasul (Sm)
said, “Certainly Allah do not look on your wealth. He only
watches your actions and approaches.” Describing another hadith
from Sahi Bukhari Sharif, Maolana Samsul Haque has written, “Be
careful! Surely there is in the body a small piece of flesh. If
the piece of flesh is perfectly pure, the whole body is pure; it
means entire human body is administered perfectly. And if it is
corrupted, the whole body is corrupted. Therefore, the person
performs different sinful acts.” Now, it is required to know,
how and in touch of which soul becomes impure; and how and in
touch of which we can make our souls pure. According to my
murshid, soul is the material of super intangible world. Some of the materials
of this world make soul pure and impure. Some of the inherent
vices of the world are namely, lust, anger, greed, infatuation,
vanity and envy. These six inherent vices turn the soul into
either pure or impure. Soul should be made pure by the power of fayez, a material of
super intangible world. By attaining power of fayez from
Awlia-E-Keram, soul can be purified.
Humans cannot concentrate in prayers because of their impure
souls. A story, in this context, is given below as an example:
Being heard of a friend’s sufferings from fever, a man,
purchasing some sweets went to meet him. And, because of illness
for a long time, his friend, being extreme feeble became unable
to take food. Bringing sweets before his ill friend’s mouth, the
man requested to have those. Testing sweets, the sick fellow
said that they (sweets) were bitter and he could not manage to
eat. At this instant, it is required to know, are sweets really
bitter? Or, has his taste become bitter because of illness?
Everyone will agree that in reality the sweetness of sweets are
present, but sweets taste bitter to the ill person because of
his illness. Likewise, by saying prayers to Allah, we can attain
affection, taste and satisfaction. Being our souls impure, we
are unable to achieve such affection, taste and satisfaction;
and thus, we do not wish to say prayers. As a result, to attain
nearness to Allah through achieving affection during prayers,
one is required to make his soul pure by keeping in close
contact with the doctor who provides the treatment of soul i.e.
Wali Allah and by freeing from diseases i.e. six inherent
vices.
By analyzing the biographies of the companions of the Rasul (Sm)
it can be seen that they spent the entire night by offering
prayers. If we talk about the life history of Wali Allah, we
will be able to see that they remain absorbed in prayers during
both day and night. No worldly disturbances can interrupt their
prayers. Only reason behind is that they have achieved affection
through prayers by making their souls pure. Therefore, the power
of fayez from tawajjoh ettehadi that the Rasul (Sm) used to turn
the turbulent and barbaric Arabs from sinful act, tyranny,
immoral practice, adultery, drinking wine, gambling and other
several types of sinful acts into incomparable lovers of Allah
and Rasul (Sm) by purifying their souls; is the only exceptional
trail or medicine for the purification of soul.
So, Imam Shah Chandrapuri (Rh) has arrived to earth as the
descendent of Hazrat Rasul (Sm) and with His same tawajjoh
ettehadi. Thus he has turned innumerable people of current
world, involved in sinful act, tyranny and adultery, into lovers
of Allah by purifying their souls. By purifying souls, millions
of sinners had become into devotees of Allah and Hazrat Rasul (Sm),
like asheqs (lovers) of the age of Hazrat Rasul (Sm). Some of
them leaving their services and businesses lived in the Holy
Darbar Sharif. Therefore, readers think, is it necessary for all
to achieve satisfaction of Allah and Rasul (Sm) through
achieving affection during prayers by purifying their souls by
attaining tawajjoh from any qamel-moqammel Wali Allah, follower
of the tariqah of Imam Shah Chandrapuri (Rh)? |
